Back-to-back award for PTTEP’s 2026 Subsea IRM campaign, following successful completion of the 2024–25 campaign.
The scope covered ROV-based inspection and intervention works across PTTEP offshore assets in the Gulf of Thailand.

Pre-removal survey and recording of internal wellhead condition for integrity of plugs and condition of casing and annulus, using Camera Tool String, MTD (Magnetic Thickness Detector, and MPNNS (Memory Pulsed Neutron-Neutron System) launched from a Beacon Offshore developed LTSDS (Logging Tower Subsea Deployment System) providing a fixed and weather independent launching point for the inspection spread.

Scope of work comprised engineering analysis including development of rigging plan and risk assessment to extract and remove a platform casing guide frame. Following an as-found ROV survey, to verify the guide frame position within the platform, the subsea rigging was attached and the guide frame cut free with ROV diamond wire cutter and safely removed from the structure.
The guide frame was subsequently recovered by crane to the OSV “Crest Hydra”.

UWILD as part of Special Survey to Class ABS requirements including: General Visual Inspection (GVI) of legs and Base Mat by divers and ROV – Inspection of top plating of Base Mat and scour survey at base of the mat – Selective CP and UT measurements – ACFM, CVI and MPI of welds including the main leg-to-Mat connections, approx. 45 m in total.
The project involved simultaneous SAT diving on the Base Mat and lower part of the MOPU legs from the DSV “Nusantara” while AIR diving on the upper portions of the MOPU legs was carried out from the Daughter Craft “Beacon 2”.
Due to the effective SIMOPS the project was completed ahead of time within a tight 14 day window.

Scope of Work

180km prelay survey for 2 x 350kV HVDC power cables between Dipolog on Mindanao and Santander on Cebu, Philippines.

The route was topographically challenging with a wide variation in depths and high slope angles in several locations. The maximum depth was around 650m.

Purpose of survey was to plan and optimize the cable route and acquire high resolution bathymetry and side scan sonar images along the route. Video images of the route centerline were also recorded.

Sub-bottom profiling was carried out to assess slope stability and to give information on burial of the cable to 2m below seabed

The results were reported by charting, written accounts and explanations, GIS, processed and raw data. Initial processing onboard was efficient enough to allow routing decisions to be taken before leaving the immediate area.
